WELCOME
The transition from my home country of Australia to Japan, along with living overseas for 16 years has given me a deep understanding of how to utilize my skills in a way that would be beneficial to prospective clients. Services include translation, online lessons, concert/event organization, and bilingual MC. I aim to mould my skills to meet each client's specific needs.

MY STORY
Born on the Central Coast of Australia, I had my first taste of music and Japanese culture in primary school. After graduating from a performing arts high school where I majored in Japanese and the clarinet, I was granted a Lions Club one-year exchange to Japan. While attending The University of Newcastle I had the opportunity to put my language skills to use assisting exchange students and groups visiting from Japan. Working for Japan's first overseas package tour company (JALPAK Co., Ltd.) and undertaking a role as co-ordinator of international relations for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme has heightened my skills in language and communication.
I am currently a freelance musician and the manager of an English language company.
オーストラリア出身。幼少時より音楽に興味を持ち、９歳でクラリネットを始める。中学生のときに日本からの留学生を迎え入れた経験から、日本語を勉強したいと決心する。ハンター芸術学校では音楽と日本語を学ぶ。ライオンズクラブの支援を得て長崎県立佐世保東翔高等学校に留学。
ニューキャッスル大学と同音楽大学に進学し、日本文学と器楽を専攻。在学時には留学生サポート、来学者対応、旅行案内などの日英通訳を担当する。文部科学省の奨学生に選ばれ、熊本大学に１年間留学。留学中は、自治体において英語および器楽の指導に当たる。
2か国語のスキルを活かし、JALPAKでは現地案内、修学旅行などアテンド業務に従事。並行してミュージカル公演におけるオーケストラ奏者など、多くの演奏活動も展開。JET プログラムより国際交流員に採用され再来日。現在はマネジャーとして英会話スクールの運営に携わる傍ら、フリーランス音楽家としても幅広く活動中。
